[The boy outside the library's front steps turns, registering the girl's face before giving her a polite smile. Has he met Artemis? You bet.] I don't think we have.

Dick Grayson, freshman year. [One hand lets go of his neat little bookbag, offering to shake. Man, if you ever met a stereotypical boy scout in the flesh, this is probably what he'd look like.]

[Thanks to the wonders of DC, he's totally not recognizable without a pair of sunglasses or a mask on. Funny how that works.]

[As the man seems to vanish, she shoots a confused look at the direction he'd been last.]

Sorry about that. [She smiles a little anyway, because she's actually not a complete harpy most of the time.] Artemis Crock, Sophomore.

[She looks around them again, baffled at how he just vanished like that.] Was that a teacher or something? I'm new here so there's a lot of people I don't know. Is it normal to just drag people around and introduce them to others around here?

[Man this school is weird.]

[Thanks, DC. Don't ever fail him. At least not his animated self.]

[He laughs just a little (for show, contained), still with the polite smile. Seems like a pretty chill kid. Who the heck does his hair, though? His mom?] Some of the teachers here are far from normal. You get used to it eventually.

[A brief pause. He's looking in the same direction Mr. Nice Suit ran off to.] I don't think I've seen him before, though.

[Good luck with that. Comic self is just out of luck, huh?]

[It's nothing like the kind of eerie laugh he does on missions, she doesn't notice any similarities there. Woo hoo!]

Don't seem to have much of a choice. You been here long?

[She frowns a little thinking about the fact that some random weirdo apparently knows her name.]

Too bad I can't tell if that's a good thing or a bad one. Good, because then I don't have to put up with his class, bad because that means some random stranger knows my name.

[DON'T LET THEM TAKE HIS BABY ROBIN AWAY GODDDDD ;A;]

[It's tough holding back the creepy cool laugh. It slips sometimes when someone really gets him going, but luckily this is the first time he's spoken to Artemis under his secret identity.

A long time. And we can stick to good. [Slightly creepy teacher is slightly creepy, but whatever. Not important right now. Let's hang around with the team's archer for a while.]

Were you going to go inside and borrow some books? I can help you out; I know my way around pretty well. [Partially because he sifted through the library map and databases one weekend. What's a bored computer specialist to do?]

[Maybe he'll get his baby Robin back again after a while? Give it time.]

[If he ever lets that "cool" (no, it's creepy. Sorry pal.) laugh slip in her presence his cover is sooo blown.]

Right. I think I like good better too. [She can worry about her identity being compromised later. For now, might as well keep up with the normal student thing.]

That was the plan anyway. I heard this school has one of the best libraries in the country. [Time to get her study on, see if she can't come up with some new arrow ideas or something.]
