So, Kanda's in the bathroom, doing exactly that after tying his hair up in a lose bun to get it out of the way.]

Always getting out of bed, sigh.

[And Lavi is coming back with his next tray of food. Staring at a moment at the empty bed and then glances at the open bathroom door. He sighs and puts the tray down on the dresser, then proceeds into the bathroom.]

Oh no you don't.

[Picking him up bridal style.]

I don't care what you think [Carrying him into the bedroom and putting him on the bed.] you're keeping the bandages on for one day more. Understand?

He's Kanda!

[sdjfhg Squirming in Lavi's arms, trying to push him away, and also trying to verbally protest as well, but nothing's coming out of his mouth.

[By now he's used to this and just continues normally until Kanda is on the bed. But Lavi doesn't stop there, for the moment he straddles Kanda's waist, no weight on him but keeping him from rising up again. He's got both of Kanda's wrists in his hands and keeping them pinned to the mattress as well.]

You are under doctors orders to stay in bed at least until tomorrow. You know that you are, you were conscious and coherent at that point. One more day in bed is not going to kill you.

Besides... I brought shogi this time.

Sadly.... Now he knows what Alma goes through.

[Gives a huff, looking away. He doesn't wanna stay in bed, he wants to get get up and out and do things. So he just gives a tug at his wrists.

Glancing up at Lavi at the mention of shogi, but still huffing.]

D: What happens to their Alma?!

[He can do things tomorrow. Or write them down on the white board Lavi brought him and let the redhead take care of them like he always has. Not letting them go though his grip on them loosens and his expression falters.]

Come on, Yu... You're making me worry. [Sighs and lets go of his wrists, wrapping his arms around Kanda's body carefully and forehead resting on his shoulder.] Just one more day...

... [Just relaxes in Lavi's hold, stopping his struggles. After a moment, he just gives a silent nod.

[Lavi feels the nod and sighs, relaxing against him and closing his eye for a few seconds. Then he's letting go of Kanda and getting up, moving to get his food tray.]

[After a moment, Kanda sits up in his bed, scooting back to his pillows and the headboard. He's just watching Lavi, giving a nod.

...He wished that he could talk right now. >: He hates this.]

[Sitting up is fine, he just doesn't want Kanda out of his bed unless he's getting clean or using the restroom. He puts the tray over Kanda's lap and then reaches up, letting his hair back down.]

You're going to get a headache again. [A slight sigh and he pockets the tassel. He's got the whiteboard and his phone! And the bit of sign language that Lavi has managed to teach him, the alphabet plus some other signs.]

[Gives another huff when his hair falls back down. Glancing at his tray to see what there is to eat now.
