[ escape? no... not quite. well, yes, she's trying to get away from this... strange place with the strange person in bed beside her, she could only assume male from the blurry shape on the bed when she'd glanced before getting up. but she's not trying to escape. piper lifts her head, her messy head of hair tousled about.
hardly seeing eyes stare at him and she squints a bit as if it'll help him get into focus. it does seem like she was right and that carter decided on a man this time. good. it's so much easier to walk away from a man than a woman. she continues to stare hard at him before lifting her hands to ask in sign language, two different types, where her glasses are.
Hi. Do you know where I put my glasses?that's all she asks, both in British sign language and in American sign language, just in case he knows one or the other. of course, she highly doubts it, but without her glasses, she can't really find a paper and pen to write out her question. so, hand gestures that may mean nothing to him are about as good as she can get

[ he doesn't really need to know what happened last night other than the fact that piper's thighs hurt a bit and there are small bruises on her thighs, likely from being gripped so hard. after all, carter talks and really likes to make people angry.
she tucks her pen behind her ear, folding her arms as she contemplates his apology. really, she should be the one to say she's sorry, but she's not really the one who should apologise for carter's cattiness.
piper offers a small smile and a shrug, lifting her hands to point towards him and sign shirt. after all, she still needs one. no matter how nice this bra looks, it's not exactly "out and about" wear. ]
[ she still can't help but feel guilty. stupid carter. he always seems to make things far more complicated than they ought to be. at very least, she should keep her name to herself. that would definitely be best for not being asked that same question again. she pushes up her glasses and signs a quick thank you when he gets her out a shirt.
she looks it over thoughtfully before tugging on his shirt, buttoning up the front. she smiles at him again and pulls out her notebook again, writing a few notes in it before passing it towards him. she can't really explain much more, but it's the best she can do for now.
"Sorry, I have to leave so soon. I need a shower and to brush my hair before work. Thank you for the shirt, though. If you find mine, you can call me.p.s. please don't comment on how it's saturday. that would be brilliant. thank you in advance. that's the mantra in her head. at the bottom of that note might be her phone number, but it's hard to tell if those are really numbers or just half-assed doodles. after all, she may have

[ purse on her shoulder, she's almost positive she's leaving a few other things, but she can get a new wallet if she has to and she didn't like that shirt anyway... not that she knows which shirt it is anyway. still, she could get a new one. a new shirt, a new wallet, a better weekend. that'd all be great. she throws a glance over her shoulder as she leaves the bedroom closing the door behind her and rushing towards the front door. yeah... that... that was awkward. ]
*Rick finds the wallet a little later, and gives Piper her biggest problem. The fact that the name in it is not Carter is a red flag. Someone has themselves a new fan*
