[ normally, piper doesn't go out to meet people while drunk. not like this at any rate. she's had quite a few drinks tonight, and she's all right with that. unfortunately, her handwriting had gone downhill after a bit, so she had to pull out her cell phone to continue to talk.

somewhere along the lines, an idea popped into her head. she's positive it was carter, but that didn't stop her from thinking about it. in fact, after a couple hours of simply conversing with one another, and after a couple hours of sipping at their drinks, piper's eyes continued to stay on his mouth. there was a thought that maybe she should lean in to kiss him.

so, with her cell phone in one hand, she types out a quick message, holding it out to him while she mentally prepares for the stealing of a kiss.

"Dyou mnnid if I kiss uou?" ]

[technically, Jase was here on a job. There was some ugly mug in the crowd whose number had been up tonight. He just wanted to go home... let the tension drain from his body. Drinking a couple beers was supposed to help, dammit] Uh... [he's surprised, but he typed under hers, clearly:]

No. Don't think anyone could.

[ it wouldn't have really mattered what he'd replied. she'd already psyched herself up to kiss him, and after reading his message and pocketing her phone, she reaches out to take his collar in her hands. she tugs him closer, rather uncaring of the rest of the people in the bar. as far as she's concerned, keeping her glass full and kissing him are the more important.

bending him towards her with her tug, she takes a breath and gives him an oddly chaste kiss. all of that preparation, and all she wanted was his lips on hers. the corners of her lips turn upwards as she pulls away and another kiss is placed at the corner of his lips. ]

[he's a little surprised at her boldness, but willing. He leans in easily with her, eyes shutting, blocking out that valuable sense only when their lips touch. If he's surprised at how tame the actual even is... he doesn't say anything but smirks] Heh. Well... aren't you sweet. [innocent comments don't hurt though]

[piperandco]

[ she pulls back further, almost sheepishly smiling. that hadn't gone as she'd intended, but that doesn't stop her from lifting a finger as if to tell him to wait a moment for her. she sits up further on her stool and leans forward for another kiss, this one a bit warmer than the previous, hand in his collar crawling up the side of his throat to cup the curve of his skull. how's that for sweet? ]

[that... will do him just fine. It's not often Jase lets himself indulge. And she's...] Mm.. [he makes a soft sound against the kiss that could be a protest, except his arm is snaking about her shoulders and holding her into it... mouth parted as his head tilts aside, licking softly at her warm mouth]

[ she almost retreats at that sound, uncertain of what that exactly means. but then he's holding her closer, keeping her against his mouth, and she sighs softly against his lips. she sits up straighter and pulls him closer, the hand knotted in his collar loosening to settle over his shoulder. her lips part for his tongue, and she's hardly caring of the taste of alcohol in his mouth or the fact that her mouth is still cold and sweet from her daiquiris. ]

[she tastes good, he thinks, past a murmur of approval against her lips] Hey... [he draws back, hand stroking down her neck]

[ where is he going? no, she didn't say he could stop that yet. not that she's saying much of anything. she leans forward again to catch his mouth. she can tell already she wants to keep that up, to taste him again, even if he does taste like beer. after another impish peck, she pulls away, glancing up at him through her glasses like he's the greatest person to have ever kissed her.

at his mumble, she tilts her head to the side curiously. all she wants is another kiss, and another one, and another one. what is it he wants? ]

[he smiles at that, stroking her cheek] Not here. [what.. the Hell? He can't - that sounds like - No. He's just... trying to be discrete because of his job. That's all... but damn. He does want more...]

it's okay, darlin'! it happens sometimes. i understand.

[piperandco]

[ that seems to sober her up a bit. she pouts to herself, pulling out her cell phone next to give him another message, slumping back on her stool. kissing is nice and she'd like to be able to continue that. unfortunately, she doesn't take that as a 'we can go elsewhere' and more of a 'all right, dear, i've had enough of you'.

"Are you married?"

she only asks because that's the first place her mind went to, even if she didn't see a halo around his finger. ]

[Jase... is caught between a chuckle and looking well, torn, at the question. He goes for a game smile and strokes her cheek gently] Long time ago. Hey.. do I look like the kinda guy who'd kiss someone else if I were married?

[piperandco]

[ she glances through her bangs at him as she faces her phone again. she's not really at liberty to agree or disagree with that question. the last person to kiss her like that, even if it weren't in a public place, and to be so sweet to her was married, unhappily married, but married nonetheless.

her attention drifts from him back to the piece of technology and she seems distracted for a moment, even if she isn't typing too much out. piper lifts her phone again, a new message on the screen for him.

"One more kiss, and then I promise I won't ask for more." ]

[chuckles] Wouldn't argue even if you did ask for more, sweetheart. [but... he can go with that. It makes it easier]

[piperandco]

[ she drums her fingers along the back of her phone carefully, thinking about that a moment before looking up to him with rather wide blue eyes. her eyes glance to the phone once more.

"You said not here. Is that an offer to take me elsewhere then?"

her smile is a little cheeky when she looks back to him. she'll wait for that answer before stealing the kiss she promised to take. ]
