Slavery and people as property may be out of fashion in most places these days, but the voluntary (or semi-voluntary, in some places) business of employer and servant--sometimes even master-servant--is as booming as it ever was. In some ways, it's even bigger now than before, due to specialization and the ease of some jobs.

[Stiles freezes at the knock, eyes wide as saucers, and it takes him a minute to slowly walk over to the door and timidly inch it open. When he does, he's struck dumb - the guy was hot. Really hot. So hot, Stiles was sure the guy was more than out of his league. But he was paying for him. Right. Oh this was so fucked up.

Stiles swallows and gestures into his room awkwardly, turning to retreat towards his desk. Skirting the bed entirely. He runs a hand through his hair, eyes flickering warily over Sam. He doesn't recognize him, spending most of his time with Scott's pack, the Hale pack.] I, uh, I'm Stiles.
