Slavery and people as property may be out of fashion in most places these days, but the voluntary (or semi-voluntary, in some places) business of employer and servant--sometimes even master-servant--is as booming as it ever was. In some ways, it's even bigger now than before, due to specialization and the ease of some jobs.
