He was extremely happy to have made it back to Mystic Falls. Dana seemed to be doing alright with her transition, but it'd be nice to have a home for a while as she continued to settle into her being a vampire while they worked out a plan to get Sam back.

They hadn't even been back twenty-four hours yet though, before he had his mouth attached to hers in their bedroom. They weren't even unpacked and Damon was already stripping her of her clothes. He couldn't help it. There hadn't been much sex after the first round on their trip back, too focused on helping Dana adjust and now that they were home he just needed his girl.

Happy to make it back to Mystic Falls. That must have been new for Damon. The trip back had been...a bit rough. Way too fucking emotional. Dana was sick of the mood swings, probably more than Damon. But she knew she wouldn't not take the blood. If she died, she just didn't want to think about what that would do to Damon. So she'd drank that offered blood bag he'd given her the second day after her death. And it was...so good. The ecstasy that filled her as she drank it was like none she felt before. It slid down her throat like the finest wine, tasted sweet and delicious. In no longer tasted like it did when she had been human. It was so much better...

Lucky for them, Stefan and Elena were no where around, not that Dana would have given a damn. As Damon tore at her clothes, her own hands shredded his with ease and she spun them quickly, slamming him against the wall after he had their bedroom door shut behind him, her mouth eagerly working at his, nails dragging sharp down his now bare chest as she worked his pants down and off.
