For whatever reason, your character can't lie. If asked something, they must tell the truth. It's the perfect time to tell that person what you really think, get that confession off your chest, or just come clean.

Jack's answer is calm as ice. "When you see you have a problem."

Oops? *hugs* Mine's in pieces on the floor, too.

"I'm FINE!" Trevor's like a broken record, frankly. He'd tried pheromone buzzing every nurse and doctor that comes to check on him and change the IVs to let him go but he doesn't have the focus to do it right.

When that didn't work, he just got angry. So very angry.

"Only PROBLEM is I'm chained to a bed in the most unsexy way imaginable!" Trevor then pulls on the restraints keeping he down, not even caring about the bruises already on his wrists.

Jack cannot hide the flinch when he sees the bruises, but that is the only reaction to his son's situation he allows himself at the moment. "The reason why you are chained to the bed shouldn't matter right now Trevor.

What should matter is getting better."

"I don't NEED to get better!" Trevor insists again, like he has been for the past day or...maybe more. Time's a blur, frankly.

Then, an idea hits him. Sure, he can't con all these stupid medical assholes into letting him go but...this is his dad. Dad's have to listen, don't they? "Listen...listen. I'll make you a deal, OK. You like deals."

Jack calmly raises an eyebrow and waits. "I'm listening and that's it so deal away."

"I'll move back home. With you and Ma...and get a job or school or something. I will. Just lemme go. Tell 'em to lemme go." Trevor pleads frantically. He's bargaining, and it's not the way to go but he just want's OUT.

"I can't do that Trevor," Jack says, "I can't trust that you won't start drinking again the moment you get out. You will get the help you need here."

"What is so bad about having a drink? Everybody has a drink. How come you don't get on their case?"

[captain_flyboy]

"One isn't bad......but you seem unable to stop with just one and that is what has us worried."

[bprd_trevor]

"So I need a little more than most people. So what?" Trevor whines as he continues to pull at the restraints keeping him down on the hospital bed. "Look at Uncle H, Dad! He's always drinking!" And happens to have an accelerated healing ability but...still.

"Again Red knows when to stop.....you seem to be having an issue with that part too," Jack points out."

[bprd_trevor]

"I can stop any time I want!" It's a complete lie, and Trevor knows it. The problem is he's so wound up from the detox process that he simply can't think rationally. "I don't need to be in here!"
