[Why did she let him convince her to come back to Death City? He killed Soul. He forced himself back into her life and changed her from a Meister into a Weapon. His Weapon.

No, she wouldn't let him back in. He wouldn't be her Meister. He wasn't a friend anymore, he was just the reigning shinigami that murdered her best friend. It hurts when he holds her in Weapon form. It hurts talking to someone she previously had an attachment to. Being that close to someone brings the risk of trusting them again and, in her own way of seeing things, Kid had already turned his back on her when the ogre took over Soul's body.

Thought she was delirious like the rest of them did.

It was, as far as she could tell, a complete accident that he finally realized Soul wasn't Soul. He wasn't looking out for her, he was just doing it to maintain order...that, and she was the daughter of his father's Death Scythe. It seems that spending a long time trapped in a water cell wasn't really a good thing for ones mentality. Even if Mukuro had been able to come out through Chrome and others - spending time alone in a cold place without being able to do anything had really changed something.

Memories. They were slowly fading. Maybe this was the price for possessing so many souls and having so many homes for his own.

Now he was once again alone. Escaping had been difficult and they had gone separate ways. Mukuro had been left on his own. Or that's how it felt for him now that he wasn't sure what to believe anymore.]
