[Looking up from her sketchpad, brow furrowing at she watched him a moment. Debating on saying something to him. Only to stop her self, trying to hide the frustration that was building up inside of her. Knowing she had feelings for the man, but hell if she knew he could even feel the same way about her. Which only seemed to bug her the more and more, now that she was actually sitting and thinking about it. Which in turn caused her to let out a sound of frustration, before she turned her attention back onto her sketchpad. Trying not to let it get to her.]

[At the sound of frustration, Arthur looks up from his book, brows knitted.] Something wrong, Ari?

[Looking up she offered him a small smile, shrugging slightly as she did.] Just thinking.

[She paused then, taking a deep breath before she spoke.] Do you have any interest in me, Arthur? [It was out of left field and she knew that. But she at least had to ask. If only to put her mind at ease some.]

Huh? What do you mean? [He narrows his eyes slightly, not really sure what she was getting at.]

Bear with me here..[Rolling her eyes at her thoughts, sighing slightly before continued.] I don't do well with this whole; telling someone you like them thing.

So yeah. I like you, Arthur. A lot. And I have for awhile.

Guess I was just curious what you thought.

You like me? [Well color Arthur surprised. How did he miss all the signs? Were there even any signs at all? Fuck. Now he feels like an idiot.]

[Nose crinkling, she just sighed, figuring he would have not even seen her signs. As obviously she failed at them on most days.] Yeah.

I mean. I know I'm not the most obvious when it comes to things like that.

And I know I don't fully know you. I get that. And there's still a lot to learn about you.

But yeah.

I like you. And I'd like to get to know you better.

[He looks at her, trying to find the right words to say.] I want to know you better to, Ariadne.

[A ghost of a smile crossed her face then, glad he just didn't think her off her rocker.] So then we learn more about each other. See what comes of it.

Well, in my case, there isn't much to learn. [He gives her a self-deprecating smile.]

[Shaking her head, she gave him a sympathetic smile.] Not true. There are still things that make you, you, right?

I mean, there is a reason you are who you are not. What makes you feel this way, things like that. [Her nose crinkled then, a rolling her eyes at her words.] Which sounds way too philosophical maybe. Or maybe it just doesn't make any sense. It's debatable.

[He huffs out a laugh.] No, I think you hit the bullseye.

[Smiling a bit brighter then, just glad to hear his laugh.] Well. Then I guess we are in agreement. And we will see what comes.
