((I actually found a fortune cookie generator here and got this one. It seemed oddly fitting.))

"I's so full!" Savannah announced loudly as she pushed the rest of her beef and broccoli away from her. "You were right about that place. Those were some of the best crab rangoons I've ever had. It was like sex in a fried wonton wrapper. I don't even think I have room for the cookie."

She said it but then she reached for the fortune cookie anyway. It just wasn't porn and Chinese food night without the cookie shaped happy ending.

"You have remarkable power which you are not using." She read as she munched. "God, how cool would that be if I did have a remarkable power? I don't think I'd do the whole secret identity thing. I'm more of a Tony Stark. Loud and proud, y'know?"

XD, this is going to be interesting, especially since I need to come up with a way to make it happen

"I don't know whether to be afraid or take it as a compliment that you're comparing that food to sex." He was hoping it was a good thing though.

And that was interesting. "Really? See, me... I'd probably go less for the Tony Stark approach... and maybe more the Michael Weston approach, yes, you may see my face, yes I may smile to yours, but you only get to know what I want and at the end of the day, I'd be nothing but a ghost." Of course, what she doesn't know, is that while he may do that, he doesn't use his own face.

"So you'd go spy with it? That sounds cool but once you reveal your power, how do you just disappear again? Wouldn't people try and find you even if it's just for the sideshow quality?"

Natasha worried her lip between her teeth as she tested her bonds. She'd allowed herself to be captured, as the other had probably figured out by then. He was clever- she'd give him that. But she had met few men who couldn't be swayed by beauty, no matter how clever. "Do you think you could loosen these for me?" she asked, a hint of her Russian accent just coming through as she held her restrained hands out to him. "They're chaffing my wrists."

Martha had learned many things while at UNIT. Sadly, those things did not involve disarming a bomb. Yet here she sat, sweating profusely as she looked at all the wires again trying to figure out what the hell she was supposed to do.

She heard someone come up behind her. "I'm going to have to ask you to leave. The less people who get hurt the better," she calls back without looking.

SHIELD got word of the potential explosion late. They were usually the first ones on the scene, but UNIT had beat them to the punch. They dispatched Steve and Tony in a desperate attempt to contain the situation. Steve was to deal with the crowd and Tony was to handle the bomb. Steve could try to defuse it, but this technology was more of Tony's things. Dealing with IED's in the field and an expensive and tailor made explosive were completely different instances. Steve was much better off at crowd control with his firm understanding of procedure and his instinct to protect those around him.

There was a smaller woman on the scene when the two of them approached. She looked to be trying to handle the situation, but she looked just as lost as Steve would have been. Tony was less than thrilled by the intrusion of another government agency. "Ma'am, I think we can handle it." Steve is wearing the suit, but he's opted out of the mask this time. Tony actually is out of the Iron Man suit and lugging a tool box shaped thing.

Thinking the man speaking was just another civilian, Martha turned around ready to yell. She was in the middle of yelling "Get away" when her brain registered what she was seeing.

A man in a very blue... very tight... uni.. form was telling her to move. And there was another one with a tool box. Her mouth closed as she took in the scene, wheels turning.

She was also aware of just how little time they had and so stepped aside for the man with the toolbox. "I trust he knows what he's doing and will do a much better job of saving us than I would."
