And he watched her. A lump developed at the touch of her hair on his arm. It was funny how you didn't realize you missed certain things until they were gone. Pepper had been fine with keeping his life all about work. He hadn't needed a woman's touch in a long time. Just having her hair accidentally brush him though was nice. He almost wished part of it had been intentional. He was fairly certain that the hand that was currently resting on his knee was very intentional.
