D R E A M S ☁ M E M EDreams are difficult enough to understand. They range from embarrassing, to frightening, to thought-provoking, to just plain nonsensical. You may find yourself wondering what that was all about, or trying to forget about it as quickly as you can. It may be close enough to reality to confuse you, or dream logic may prevail. Let her into your dreams, guys. You know you want to.

Of course it was a 2. :| spintosurvive September 4 2011, 05:30:04 UTC
For all its awfulness, Miller's nightmare is actually quite simple in terms of setup: a near-destroyed car, with her and the bodies of her two friends trapped in it, and standing in the middle of the road before it is Rumplestiltskin, who looks to be threatening the lives of some of the many people Miller cares about. There are already a few bodies sprawled on the ground-- her parents, Red... The Tailor.

The sound of Miller's sobs are the only sound that can be heard, for the moment.]

Of course! eineprinzessin September 4 2011, 05:40:14 UTC
Princess knows about nightmares. She's never had one she remembers, but she knows about them. Before, she'd never bothered to even think much about Miller, but now she had to wonder just what would make a person dream something like this. It was...unsettling. It just gave her the general feeling that everything about this dream was wrong--something that should never happen.

It made her want to run away.

She couldn't, though, the dream had to end for her to leave. It had to end, or it had to change right now because seeing all those people on the floor and not thinking about what had happened to them wasn't something she could do for long. The only thing to do was to get to the car, and find the person dreaming this.

"Miller? You need to get up."

Miller's pinned down in the passenger seat by some several tons of metal, blood that may or may not be her own but in any case is rather copious covering her body. She glanced out the window, startled to see the Princess there.

"Pr--princess, what're you doing here? You... You've got to get out, he's trying to kill everyone...!" There's definitely panic developing in her tone.

*Normally, she just watched in dreams. She'd sit herself in a nice quiet corner and just watch, but this wasn't something she could watch. With that in mind, Princess began to try and remove as much metal as she could, without making things collapse. That old saying about dying in your dreams wouldn't leave her mind, and taking chances wasn't something she ever did.

When Miller spoke, she was careful to bit her tongue. She wouldn't say that everyone who mattered was already dead, who knew how that news would go over?*

I can't leave without you. You have to get out of the car.

Indeed it does. spintosurvive September 4 2011, 06:00:58 UTC
[In typical dream fashion, Princess' attempts at removing the metal actually work out pretty well. Once she's free she leans a little against the chair, shuddering to draw breath in.] Thank you. But... but what do you mean, leave? We have to... have to stop him.

Do you know how to do that? *she wasn't familiar with Miller's dreams, she didn't know if stopping Rumple was even possible in her mind. Honestly, Princess just wanted to get out of here.*

[She shakes her head.] I-- I don't know. There's... He's already gotten so many of the others... [This is probably the only time the Princess has seen the older woman so broken, so lost. Any other and Miller would have tried to hide it from her.]

I know...
*It was the first thing she'd noticed, which of the others had already fallen. But she had to push past that, they both did. If Miller couldn't get them out of here, then nothing good was going to happen*

We can't...we can't think about that. We need to get out of here, and if we have to defeat him to do it, so be it.

We can... [She's faltering, trying to remain strong but not entirely succeeding. ] I think if we run for the woods, and find a way to get him lost in them, we can double back around and attack. He's not very good at hand-to-hand, if I remember.

That's what we'll do, then. *She could tell Miller was faltering, and why shouldn't she? It was her nightmare.
So Princess extended out a hand for her to take* I think we can make it.

[She takes her hand, tentatively.][And so they run.]

*She's never run so hard in her life, but she can't shake the nagging feeling that if you die in a dream you die in real life. Is this what nightmares are always like? Because if they are, Princess is rethinking her desire to have dreams of her own*

Is he following?

[She glances carefully over her shoulder.] I... no, no I don't think so.

[Which is decidedly confusing.] I don't know why he wouldn't, though...

eineprinzessin September 4 2011, 07:37:24 UTC
He didn't follow? But...that doesn't make sense. It just doesn't make sense.

I don't... I don't know.

[They keep running, even though logically Miller shouldn't be conscious let alone running after an accident like that. Dream logic is different.

Which somehow also explains why they are suddenly in a clearing surrounded by Rumplestiltskin, a giant from Princess' story, and a handful other villains.]

Oh, God...
