She's nervous, of course. Nothing more nerve wrecking than doing it for the first time completely sober. She looks toward the bathroom. "About done in there?" she asks.

Okay, right. He can do this. He's nervous too... this is Jo and he really wants things to go right tonight, wants to make sure she enjoys herself. After another minute used to gather himself, he steps out of the bathroom and smiles. "Yeah, uh... sorry."

He flashes a soft smile as he gets close enough to touch the side of her face, tipping her head back for a kiss.

She sits up on her knees, and kisses him back, fingers sliding along his neck. He's always been something special. Someone special. And she doesn't want to screw this up. "You taste good." Is that awkward?

That earns a soft, affectionate laugh. A lot about this was awkward really, but that didn't stop him from wanting it, from wanting her. "You taste better."

He brings up a hand to brush her hair away from her face and sits down next to her. After that, he slides an arm around her waist to draw her onto his lap.

"Thanks," she says, blushing a little. God, sex is so weird. So awkward. But he's Sam, and she's always thought he's good at putting people at ease. She's always felt that way with him. "I like this." Being in his lap's more than a little nice.

He smiles at that blush and lets his finger trace over her cheek. He wanted her to be at ease here... he wasn't going to hurt her. Last thing he wanted. "Yeah, me too."

He leans in to nuzzle at the side of her face, kissing over her jaw. "God, I've wanted this for a long time."

She smirks a little, baring more neck for him. Jo gets comfortable in his lap, hands settling on his chest. When he tells he he's wanted this for a while, she shivers a little. "Me too," she murmurs. "I...didn't know if you wanted to, and I..." There's a little shrug. "You know what I mean."

It's hard to tell sometimes.

"I know." He hadn't wanted to push it or go too fast. Jo was more important than that and he didn't want to mess it up. He was glad she wanted it though, glad they had a moment. His lips moved over her neck, kissing lightly over the skin there.

"You sure you want this?" Well, tonight, he meant. She seemed kind of nervous still too.

Well, there's also the fact that they both tend to leave dead bodies in their sexual wake. Their genitals are cursed. But maybe, just maybe, this will work. She makes a little noise with his lips on her throat. "I'm sure," she says. "Just...jittery. It's been a while." And there she goes, blushing. So much for the super-cool hunter chick routine.

Hey, maybe it'll work. Sam hopes anyway. And he doesn't mind if she's keeping up a tough face or not--she doesn't have to with him, he'd like to think. Moving up, he went to catch her in a kiss, slow and deep.

She kisses him back, fingers sliding along his neck to his face, as she makes a soft little sound, relaxing against his mouth. That's better. Much.

He groans softly against her lips and slowly starts to switch their positions. He tries to press her back on the bed underneath him.
