[Tuck could handle the muggy Georgia heat, even with how different it was to the dry desert heat of his California home. But the whole day, he had been feeling a different kind of warmth. It felt like he was burning up from the inside. He stubbornly dismissed it as just a touch of heatstroke, but after the sun went down, the day's heat going with it, he was forced to admit that there was something wrong.]
Sounds good! What time period were you thinking? S1 or S2? Post 2.13?wearingearsJune 26 2012, 05:19:16 UTC
[Daryl looks up from the rabbit he'd been skinning by the light of the fire- not the ideal, obviously, but he'd taken longer to make it back to camp today than he'd planned- and tosses a strip of shredded pelt to the side, dragging the back of his hand across brow to clear away the sweat threatening to drip into his eyes.
Frowning, he turns his attention to his companion. This is the first he's seen of the other man all day, not least because he don't make a habit of babysitting.]
Think so. Why, somebody need 'em?
[Florence Nightingale he ain't; he hasn't noticed anything off about Tuck yet, too absorbed in his task to pick up on any of that.]
Richard groaned. Summertime in Storybrooke could be so hot sometimes. He was on his way home when he saw the shelter. It wouldn't hurt to just drop in. Maybe she needed a ride home?
Peeking his head inside, he looked around the room. He tried to smile, even as he adjusted his tie. It was warmer inside, if possible. He felt like he was in a rain forest or something.

Being the resident veterinary nurse and receptionist means that Riley is a little bit of everywhere all the time. Currently, she's in the back watering the dogs. When she hears Richard's voice, though, she hurries to the front office, grinning when she pokes her head inside the door.
"Hi! I wasn't exactly expecting to see you today. What's up?"
"I got out of my meeting early and I'm on my way home. I thought I'd stop in and see you. I said I wanted to see the dogs, remember?" Not just her dogs, but the shelter as well. He'd wanted to see it all.
He smiled, eying her up and down. Was there one day she didn't look beautiful?
"Need some volunteer help?" He reached up and tugged at his tie again. He was hot.
[Whatever Loki had done while messing with Clint's brain, it was starting to affect him. While he still remained under Loki's control it was starting to raise a fever in him. He leaned against the wall]
I loves me a controlled clint~just_a_relicJune 24 2012, 00:15:27 UTC
[ these human beings were such fragile creatures, that the God of Mischief wonders how this race has managed to live this long and not become extinct. The moment his pet voiced out his health difficulties, loki moved from his sitting position on the floor and walked towards agent barton and rested his whole hand upon the man's forehead. But he did not look the least bit concerned. Loki looked worse than he most times and a little human sickness was nothing to worry oneself about ]
[Clint leaned against the wall, the feverish feeling lingering on him even though the god's touch somehow seemed to give him relief. Somewhere in the back of his mind Clint remembered Thor telling that Loki was originally a frost giant. Maybe that was it, then]
Can't you do anything about it.
[Now Clint only sounded whiny, but he wanted to get better so he could get back to working on the Tessaract]

"Riley," he called out for her.
