[ It's not unusual for Tony to wake up after a night of drinking, partying and sex with a headache and blurry vision. What is unusual is he's not normally in another person's house with no idea where he is or who was here. Or what happened. Whoever he'd slept with wasn't in the bed with him so Tony got up and found his phone and sent a text to Pepper. ]
Don't be mad. I've no idea where I am. Have JARVIS pin-point me and then have Happy come get me.
[Pepper's so glad to hear from Tony that she can't bring herself to be mad. As soon as she reads the text, she pops up to do as he asks, using JARVIS to locate him.]
I'll come get you, got a light morning. Need me to bring anything?
[ Tony hasn't dared to sneak out of the bedroom yet. Mostly because he heard someone talking in the next room over. That means one of two things: A) whoever he slept with had a kid and no kid wants to know that Iron Man slept with mommy or B) whoever he slept with has a boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband thing that wouldn't feel bad at all for beating up Iron Man. SO Tony sneaks out the window and comes out through the back yard. He's mastered this set of skills already. ]
Good morning, Pepper. [ He offers a smile in his half-dressed state. ] How is your morning so far?
[And she waits patiently, figuring something is going on to prevent his escape. Her smile is faint when he finally does show up, and mostly because she's glad to see he's in one piece. An eyebrow lifts at the lack of a shirt.] Morning, Tony. Oh, it's just been peachy, fielding calls from people demanding to know where you've disappeared to and why haven't I found you yet.
[ He grins a little and finds the sunglasses he always has stashed in the car. Mostly for this reason. Hangovers are awful. He looks down at himself. ]
Shirt. Shoes. Socks. [ He shrugs and gets the coffee and a donut. ] You've found me down so it's all good. Call those people back and tell them to back off.
I know you. [But she can't help smiling a little, even if she tries to hide it.]
Hm, nothing too pressing, I don't think. Just a few journalists: someone from the Times, and someone else from People, if I'm not mistaken. Board's decided to take a long weekend.
[It isn't until he offers her a donut that she realizes how hungry she is. She hadn't stopped to eat in a while, because she'd been trying to track down Tony. Sighing, Pepper takes one and eats it as she drives.] Believe it or not, I'm not entirely sure. I was a bit preoccupied by looking for you.
[She brushes off the comment, trying to eat the donut without getting powdered sugar all over her jacket. Why didn't she just grab a glazed one? Sigh.] Someone's got to.

Coffee. Lots of coffee. And Randy's Donuts. I think that'll salvage the morning.
[ Once he finishes that text he looks for all his clothes. Only finding suit jacket, suit pants, and tie. Must have been a good night. ]

Guess I can manage that. Be there soon. Don't wander off...
[It isn't long at all before Pepper pulls up to his location, a large coffee in the upholder and a box of donuts on the passenger seat.]

Am I canceling your schedule for the day?

I don't know. What do I have? Anything with the board is out the window.

They can have good ideas? Amazing! Do you have any idea who's going to do Times and People?
