Watson figured the detective- hell, they both did infact, need a vacation. It was rediculous, of course, but john figured what better way to be rid of all the humdrum of london and have holmes come to finale terms with his marrying than to have a little fun out on the country? He just hoped the detective didn't start sniffing out any peculiar mysteries because then that would defeat the whole purpose of coming out here! "come now, ol cock, i would hardly call it aimless- you haven't been out of bakerstreet for weeks. I daresay that this has been a long time, coming."

But pursing his lips and shaking his head, oppossingly and might we say, dissappointingly, john uttered instead, "my decision isn't based on any one thing, holmes. And it most certainly doesn't mean i would loathe the fact that i would become responsible for you, should you get hurt if i wasn't with you." with quite a few mannerisms, watson partially enunciated, "what it does mean, is that i love your company, holmes. And if you can't see this trip as being such, well.. I'm sorry but i will have none of the attitude you are displaying." and with that, john crossed his arms as he looked away from his friend and instead, was more inclined in staring out the window.
