Depeche Mode - Walking In My Shoes (Now I'm not looking for absolution/forgiveness for the things I do/but before you come to any conclusions/try walking in my shoes)

Biffy Clyro - Folding Stars (Take a long hard look at yourself/how did you end up here?/the blood drips like red inverted balloons/tomorrow is a promise to no-one)

I'm loving the Depeche Mode. I haven't listened to the other one yet. I'm also in the middle of making pancakes >.>

But the lyrics are perfect.

They are possibly my favourite band. And Biffy are an obscure scottish group I take great delight in introducing as many people as possible to.

Om nom nom delicious pancakes. No rush. I'm trying to decide if I can be bothered making dinner.

I am more than happy to be swayed towards obscure Scottish groups. I'll have to look up more because they were great too.

Mm... yes. Make pancakes!!! Breakfast for dinner is a favourite of mine.

This is my favourite of their songs, and part of my personal playlist for Tony.

I (OOC) bloody love that song. Sky Demon's the one on Bobby here's playlist (and I don't think I'd hesitate to include Machines, too).

Ditto. Machines made it onto my playlist for Tony, as did Hero Management. I'm considering Mountains too. Basically Biffy are awesome and have a song for all occasions.

Oh, both work so well. I haven't been into them long (found 'em through Many of Horror, the Matt Cardle cover), but indeed -- they cover all tones and moods rather wonderfully.

Yeah, I- actually went to high school in the same town as Simon Neil, so they're a local band for me. It still makes me happy when other people have heard of them.

Really? Sweet. I remember listening to As Dust Dances and God and Satan, and going, awesome - they're something out of the ordinary. :)
