Charles tilted his head backwards to look towards Erik. He had been so zoned in on his work that Erik's voice had nearly startled him. He put down his pen and relaxed against the back of his chair. "It is late, but I only have a couple more -- they could wait till morning." He stole a glance at his wristwatch.

Charles moved a hand up to Erik's and smiled a little, and relaxing against one of Erik's arms. "I'll bring her waffles, we'll share." He paused. "No syrup though," he learned his lesson last time. "The bedroom looked like a scene out of a Hitchcock film."
