[She shakes her head, and settles back against the headboard, too, stroking a finger gently across his forehead] Hey - no need to apologize. How could you have known you were going to be attacked?

True, I guess. But I still feel a little stupid for going out there alone. Now, I have to tell Magnus tomorrow, and she's going to worry about who would want to attack one of her employees.

Wouldn't you worry, too, if you were in her shoes? I get the impression this wasn't just some random thing. And if they did it to you, they'd be more than willing to hurt others, as well.

This is the first time I've been attacked like this. I've been kidnapped a few times, but nothing like this. [He gently rubs his forehead and sighs.] Are you all right? I didn't mean to scare you.

I'm okay, Will. I was more frightened for you, than for anything else. I'm just - I'm so sorry that things keep happening, and that people don't understand why you do what you do.

There's no need to apologize for what they do. People are always going to be like that, no matter what. All we can do is keep helping those that need it. [He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.] The pain pill is making me tired.

I know. It doesn't make me feel any better, though, knowing that people can do such things for no reason. [She sighs, and leans in to press a kiss to the corner of his lips] You sleep, then, and I'll sit here and watch over you.

Okay. Thank you. [He murmurs as he starts to fall asleep.] Love you.

You just rest, you need it. [She pauses, and offers a smile, even though with his eyes close, he can't see it] Love you, too.
