i don't understand why people hate sif.

Might be because she's basically an OC who is absolutely nothing like her mythic counterpart, although I don't hate who Marvel created her to be. She just isn't Sif.

That's sort of the problem, for me. That's not who mythic Sif is. Sif is a gentle, caring goddess who looks after the harvest and fertility. She isn't a warrior and for fuck's sake, SHE'S BLOND. That part is, at least, fundamentally important. I have no issue with Marvel making a kick-ass viking warrior princess but they really should have just given her an original name, because that's what she is.

I think dreamwidth is way uglier than lj, and is missing so many options that lj offers. Even with the problems of the new comment page, lj is still much more intuitive than dreamwidth.
