[Jerk jerk. Jerk...? Nope, pulling at the chain does NOT seem to help at all. Ed is SO unamused.]

...Please tell me you have a key...?

[Hopeful; nothing against you, Jerry, but even for as much hold as you've got over him this really isn't his idea of a fun night.]

[Jerry just rolls his eyes at the chain, giving Ed a wonderfully condescending look, the type a parent might give their kid. Which, of course, makes sense, because Ed is one of his infants.]

I could just cut your hand off.

[And that gets a vaguely worried look; he's joking, right? Maybe? Probably?]

Nah, but it's a thought. [He runs his fingers along the chain of the handcuffs that he could easily snap if he wanted to, but he doesn't. Not yet.] You want to test it, Ed?

[...With reckless abandon, probably having dragged Jerry along with each jerk. Not actually "testing". He nods, more than agreeable.]

Yeah, okay. So what, is this a "monkey see" situation, or do what I was doing before, or...?

I meant the idea of me cutting your hand off, but since you can't even get that straight. [But he's already tired of this game, so he snaps the chain and then snaps the cuff off of his hand.] You could have done that yourself, you've got to give yourself more credit.

[He pulls the hand in question closer to himself and examines it intently, like he might have to part with it right.this.second, but soon abandons it to work on getting the cuff itself off. And yeah, it's nowhere near as difficult as he'd been expecting.]

Why would I want you to cut my hand off? That's fucked.
