[With Christmas coming, Amy has been bugging him to get a message to Melody inviting her home, but how exactly was he supposed to do that? He had searched for options, and right now he's taken to flashing Morse code with a flashlight into the sky. It's all that's left to try, and he doesn't expect a thing. Besides, after today it won't matter.]

Technically I haven't got it yet, but the Doctor's giving it to me for Christmas.

[Oh right, hugging! Yeah, this isn't quite something she's used to; not that she has any issues with personal space, but rarely does she get to hug someone, especially her father] The Doctor?! He's here?!

Yeah, but he looks like he's about to bolt so don't...startle him. Not surprising though, with how he feels about domestics.

Still though, the thought simultaneously sends his heart up into his throat and down into the pit of his stomach. Yeah, he's just going to follow after her.]
