[ Hank says he's perfectly capable of driving, thank you very much. By the same logic that allowed him to pilot the Blackbird, he partially designed this car and he is going to drive it. Even if it's Erik in the passenger seat, and they're going to pick up a few new mutants because Charles is indisposed with some other crisis.

He's a little uncomfortable with Erik. With Charles, they at least have some common ground in science and the Professor is open enough to put him at ease. With Erik, Hank's never quite sure what the other man is thinking. And for the past half an hour he's been trying to come up with a single thing to talk about.

An odd opportunity in the form of a shuddering crash against the front of the car presents itself. ]
