Personality Meghan is more comfortable with the dead than she is the living, but it's something that she is forced to overcome through her work with the police department. As a forensic anthropologist she is the face the media sees when a skull is reconstructed so she's getting better with interaction. She has a close circle of friends and while she's an introvert in social situations, around her friends and people she's comfortable with, she's an extrovert. Meghan does a lot of volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity, Canine Specialized Search Team (Cadaver Dogs), and DMORT a branch of FEMA. She loves the outdoors and often takes her camera along. It allows her to be a part of the situation, but also have the wall of a camera.
Skills and AbilitiesMeghan is regular human with no discernible skills and abilities beyond being an artist in most mediums. Her specialty is sculptures, however, she only does sculpting

Short history/backstory: Natalie is a nurse working in Grand Junction, CO. She and the doctor she works for operate a small family practice clinic which treats the local community up front, as well as sick or wounded hunters in the area on the side (and without charge). She does not hunt, although she knows enough about it to keep herself safe.
Characters you'd like to play with: Canon characters are always wonderful, as well as any other fandom characters who would have the need for a nurse, but she also has some characters in her backstory life that would be fun to have also. Specifically her boss, Dr. Wesley Masters (and his yet unnamed wife) and the first hunter she met (whom she still keeps in contact with and tosses cases his way when they have a medical component), Paul Franks. A little more about them can be found in her full backstory.
Plot ideas: None right off hand, although I'd like to see her pushed out of her safe bubble a little more and into some more

Short history/backstory: Abbie 'AJ' Jansen is a small-town girl living her dream by attending Brown University - studying Psychology with a minor in Creative Writing. While the brain and the way it works fascinates her, AJ's real first love is writing. She wants to be published one day, but suffers from terrible shyness when it comes to her writing. She does have a manuscript that she wrote back in high school, but she is reluctant to send it to publishers for fear of getting rejected. She's working up the nerve to do so

We need to decide where these two are living. I play Ellie as still being part of the Sanctuary, or I take Griffin's canon from the show and have her leaving the Sanctuary several decades before, and doing her own thing. So they can either have an apartment together or live at the Sanctuary.
And, one of your characters should find out Ellie's sort of a modern day Robin Hood and robs banks. ;-)
Short history/backstory: Jonathan was born Tabitha Wells, an extremely intelligent girl who wanted to study medicine. Unfortunately, she was also born in a time and place where girls can't get a university degree, let alone a professional career (think mid 19th-century England, but with better tech). Her elder brother Jonathan died when they were kids, and through various wacky adventures, with a lot of help from her rather eccentric father, Tabitha took his place, cross-dressing her way into a Cambridge education and a First in medicine. She then spent several years in Dublin, at a charity for the poor, just in case her socialist credentials were in doubt
