It's a lovely planet, it really is. She's been in a Christmas mood, so he's taken her to a planet made of snow. Literally made of snow. It has a core, probably, but in the mean time, they're laying on the stuff as it falls down constantly from above.
It's lovely, though, hardly cold at all, because it's not actual snow. He's explained what it was, but she doesn't really care, because it looks like it, and she isn't freezing her knickers off. The rest is all details.
