[ Annie smiled as she felt each droplet splash onto her skin. She was getting completely soaked now, but she didn't care. Water, water felt good. ]

[Arthur was unintentionally staring at her from under his umbrella. He was fine, completely covered and mostly dry with the exception of his feet and lower legs, but seeing this girl standing out there in the rain made him stop and, well, stare.]

...Excuse me, Are you alright?

[ Annie's large eyes studied Arthur for a moment before she looked up and spread her arms - giving the rain an open embrace. ]

I'm wonderful.

[ She peeked at him again and smiled. Her smile was warm, but Annie supposed serial killers have warm smiles too. ]

You should come out from under there and join me.

[ She looks at him, points to herself, then surprised, runs back over to the swingset to retrieve her umbrella, though she doesn't put it over her head ]

It was gloomy and perfect for a Erim’s profession, but it was a bit of a hindrance for when she couldn’t exactly fly home with two large paper bags and two smaller plastic bags of groceries, respectively held in her arms and hanging off her elbows. It would normally be nothing to the silver haired goddess to just walk home with them, but the paper bags would be ruined in the rain.]

[Spotting another woman, a blond, in a similar predicament, Erim decides to talk to her and hopes for a response.]

It's so often hard to deal with everything. Things like this for example - [At this, she sets what was in her arms down and gestures to the downpour.]

It would've been nice to know that I should've brought a wagon and a tarp or something like that. And of course the man of the house is off lollygagging with his boyfriends.

[Never mind the fact that it was Erim's turn to grocery shop.]
