Aya sat in the baggage claim as far from the crowds as possible. He had carried his bag on the plane with him to avoid this, but he still had to wait to be picked up. Why were airports so loud? Alvin hadn't seen Aya in a while. War can kinda tear people apart, and, being in seperate areas hadn't helped.

The main reason that Alvin was currently picking him up from the airport, instead of being with him, was that the young man had received compassionate leave due to his father dying. He walks up to Aya, putting a hand on his shoulder from behind.

"There you are. Been looking everywhere for you."

The touch made Aya jerk away. Jumping from his seat, he turned around to see who his enemy was. His hard gaze found Alvin, staring back at him. He gasped, finally taking a breath.

"Alvin... Don't sneak up on me like that..." He ran a hand over his face, trying to calm down. What was wrong with him? He had known Alvin long enough to trust him, but he just could not shake the feeling that he was in a danger zone.
