In his defense he was sort of forced to join the Hitler Youth and never did anything too bad while a member, and didn't actually believe in any of that (well, or so he claims.)

He still sucks just for all of his other philosophies and stuff, though.

i bet he did go for it--catholics were neutrals with nazis, and the polish hated the jews. most of thejews killed in poland in WWII era were killed by the polish--the nazi takeover was just an excuse to do what they wanted.

i still don't know about my feelings on the pope. yes, conservative.... but, as i understand, my intelligent, liberal, catholic (but anti-Church) grandmother respects him. respects. what does that mean...? but i guess he's got some smarts and he cares about PEOPLE or something. i don't remember. he'll die in less than five years anyway.
