I don't know, I think a pretty good case could be made for banning high-fructose corn syrup from the realm of human existence... :D

But that, as with most things, is a product of the government.

If you want to end that just bypass the sugar lobby while removing subsidies. Foreign sugar will flood the country and corn syrup will no longer be a needed alternative.

Oh, I know that... it is amazing (and somewhat disheartening) how many people don't, though. I've lost track of how many times I've gotten reactions of complete disbelief from people who had no clue what the difference between "Pepsi" and "Pepsi Throwback" was, and couldn't understand why the soda manufacturers don't just make the sugar-based all the time...

Damning seems a bit much.

Just preventing them from controlling others, their primary motivation, seems enough. As long as we point out their true motivations to counter their lies we should all be fine.

That's certainly part of it. But they are pretty much the same thing. You won't find an herbivore non-Liberal calling for any laws or bans.
