Random, wherein I post anything from boobies to ... well, anything

Random features things that for some reason didn't fit to me in the Daily Outrage. There'd be science-y stuff if I could get around to reading and stealing the regularly interesting links Writers puts up, but I just never get to it.

"I'm not locked in here with you. YOU'RE locked in here with ME!!"

My favorite line from the graphic novel by virtue of it being the only one I remember. I think I'll see the movie tomorrow.

BTW, I've posted a great video of tanks being blown all to hell in my journal.

That is a fantastic line. They kept in for the film. It's a great adaptation.

Saw it. Wasn't in the mood for the music. Will check it later.

No need to accommodate me. I can turn it down or wait for a better mood.

Right now I'm catching up on the end of BSG so I can finally see it go away.

Actually I kind of like Ghost Hunters, thought I think Ghost Adventures (which is on a different channel) is way better. I'm very intrigued by hauntings and ghost stuff. :)

The problem with GH is they're investigating as skeptics, so often times they'll sit around for hours and nothing happens. But GA, they lock themselves down overnight in well-known haunted places, and they've actually caught some really weird stuff on camera, like an actual full-bodied apparition, and objects flying across the room by themselves.

If it was on any channel but the Science Fiction channel it would just be something I wouldn't watch. Since it's on the Scifi channel it irks me. Either it's fiction, in which case it serves no purpose to watch it, or it's reality, in which case it shouldn't be on a channel devoted to science fiction.

Granted, the reason the show remains on air is because it costs nothing to produce and gets enough of an audience. Nevertheless, on a channel supposedly about scfi I'd prefer they take those budgets, along with those of all the crappy monster of the week films, and start some new low budget but good scifi series.

Because it's scifi. When in doubt, rerun Babylon 5 and Firefly. :)

But to each their own for those enjoying it. Just not on this channel. Maybe when they convert to Syfy a non-NBC non-shit company will start a real science fiction channel.

Yeah, I do understand what you mean that it has no business being on that channel.

The only science fiction I'm really into is Transformers. :)

Oh, and that disappointing about the Onion, normally I love that "news" site.
