A look at our future of endless government and poverty:
A nonelected entity, The Northern Virginia Transportation Authority last night passed a package of local taxes and fees. If a transit authority can raise your taxes, any government agency that wants money can. Do you know of any who don't want your money?

It appears that I am to be mocked. I see nothing wrong with what Bush said. The girls simply over reacted he even tried to encourage her after the question when he saw that he hurt her little feelings. So what was so wrong here?

There is plenty wrong with his immigration ideas, but I don't see anything wrong with a joke that should of never got the reaction it did. The girl must be far to sheltered to seriously have that bust her in to tears.

I don't blame him for not doing that I wouldn't of. I probably wouldn't of responded to the question the way he did but the way he handled it afterward is pretty much the same way I would of. He simply made a joke it was like "Oh thanks for asking that and pointing out my failure" kind of thing and it was a simple joke.

I agree that he royally screwed up on Immigration and that pissed me off.

I knew the Marines were innocent. Murtha is a fucking traitor, piece of shit. Maybe I take it personally since both my best friend and ex-husband are Marines... but I feel like, if you haven't been there, getting shot at, IED's going off everywhere and you can't even tell who is friend or foe, with your enemy willing to blow themselves up to get to you and hiding in hospitals and mosques... even if there was a mistake made... who are you to judge????

Exactly. I am a big proponent of the Executive setting the military's overrall goal then everyone shutting the fuck up until they're done. War sucks. Try to avoid it. But if you can't, get it done as efficiently as possible with the least second guessing. The military, contrary to Democrat belief, does not take delight in killing civilians, and will pursue it's own for the most part when appropriate.
