I was asked by a socialist (self-IDd) via Twitter recently, "hello - this is your lefty friend. can you tell me what is so awful about PBO's Iran plan?" If this were any other leftist I'd assume it's the set up talking point of the "we have to pass it before you see what's in it". The grotesquely insulting argument making the rounds from Democrats

I have mentioned this elsewhere, don't know if you have seen it or not. Carter was totally complicit in the overthrown of the shah. Who do you think sent the ayatollah Khomeini (or however you spell all of that) back to Iran from France, where he was in hiding, and forced the shah not to kill him
