It's nice of her to say it now, but where the hell was she when it could have made a difference? I recall well just how Noonan and the rest of that neo-"con" gang savaged Sarah Palin before the ought-8 elections. She was little different from the Daily Kos Kooks in her tone when discussing McCain's VP choice. She was still doing it even after the election, and Palin had demonstrated no further political ambitions.

That's the problem with these damn neo-"cons": they know what's going on, but won't do anything when it counts. They wanted that "Democratic interlude" to help us forget all about GWB and their manifest failures. They refused to support McCain; they savaged Palin when her selection jump started McCain's campaign. They're still at it, with the threats that they're gonna neutralize and marginalize conservatives and the Tea Party candidates.

OK, they got what they wanted, and they got it good and hard. It's way too late for them to be bitching about the end results as they realize they got way more than they bargained for.
