The End of Rape Culture"A curious thing is happening at the National Post right now. During the course of a fortnight, the National Post has printed four articles on rape culture. Rape culture, for those of you who don’t know, is the idea that we live in a society whereby rape - of women - is an accepted practice ( Read more... )

Yiiiikes, I'm wondering what their definition of rape is if 43% of women go on to date their rapists.

I believe leftists have to come up with this kind of nonsense to distract the public from finding out that all problems in society are caused by the things leftists encouraged. There wouldn't be so many blurred lines on college campus if screw around party culture wasn't so big, and people were there to focus on studies that actually lead to employment.

Rape is having consensual sex with someone, but then deciding later that maybe you shouldn't have. Or deciding afterwards that you don't want to go out with the guy anymore so therefore he raped you the last time you had sex. This later decision can be weeks and even months after the fact.

Or you could listen to those who say that all sex with a man is rape.

THANK YOU for saying this!

I have noticed this trend, but thought perhaps I was imagining it. Unless it's people that you personally know, and know all the facts about the situation, there's no good way to prove things one way or the other.

And so, even suggesting such a thing happens gets you screeched at for "victim blaming".

"Were you pressured for sex?" "then you were raped." What does that look like? "c'mon, I've been a good boy, we've been going out for 3 months!"

"Were you plied with alcohol or drugs?" "Then you were raped." What does that look like? "Can I buy you a drink?", "Hey, You want to go burn one?"

"Do you ever not remember consenting to sex?" "Then you were raped." What does that look like? Check out this story. http://www.businessinsider.com/ohio-university-sexual-assault-2013-10 10 witnesses observed the event, they took video. The video has been widely circulated. NO ONE thought it was other than consensual. However, the following day...

you asked what the definition of rape is... Not too far from this.

I am curious what penalties you have seen for false criminal reports.

If you give false testimony at a trial that is perjury. Also false claims and other such things opens you up to civil suits.

OK. All fair enough. Let me put it another way.

Hopefully the hassle of police, possible rape kits, trial, and threat of repercussion might dissuade some of the BS accusations to be curtailed.

Part of these leftist scams is in lowering the bar then screaming about the increase. If they at least require police involvement hopefully some of that impending explosion will diminish.
