The whole thing just begs for a massive fisking, especially lines like this:

Downtown businesses in Manhattan were affected. That’s true. But no Occupier ever blocked a consumer from reaching a shop.

How in the hell does one "be respectful and try not to get heated" when half of the argument is based on such bald falsehood?

"Downtown businesses in Manhattan were affected. That's true. But no Occupier ever blocked a consumer from reaching a shop".

It's true, however, it's true in the same sense of:

Let's suppose these people I don't want in my neighborhood are thinking of buying the home for sale next door. Like responsible home buyers, they knock on my door to ask me about the house they're thinking of buying. I sadly shake my head: "I wouldn't want to buy a house with a cracked foundation".

Did I lie? Not really, because I wouldn't want to buy a house with a cracked foundation. That's a perfectly honest statement, isn't it? I didn't actually lie either because I never said the house next door had a cracked foundation.

This is what the OWS gang is doing. Sure, an OWS-er never personally stood in a doorway, chasing off customers who wanted to enter. So, in that sense, they're not lying. However, they aren't exactly being truthful either.

How about the paragraph about the pissing people? That was a big bag of LOLs. With all those people there, there's bound to be some people screwing, pissing, doing drugs, screaming and throwing garbage everywhere (nevermind that the reason many places want to evict them is because of the drug/garbage problem). -But you have ONE tea partier acting badly, then that's the whole movement. Yeah, totally the same. I remember all the vids of pissing, shitting on police cars, fucking in doorways, dropping from ODs at all the Tea Parties...

Oh wait, I don't. It never happened when those racist, Nazi, right wing terriers all got together. Strange how they always left Tea Party rally sites cleaner than they found them.

Can't say that about "Occupy" sites.
