So I went home for the holidays and it was the best decision ever. We were planning this Eastern Europe tour for the break, but changed our minds last minute and went home to our families. I'm really into the whole ambience thing lately. I mean I was before, but it has seemed to develop a new place in my musical soul (a new appreciaiton I guess). The bands I got from you guys are: album leaf, american analog set, broken social scene, caribou, do make say think, m83, mates of state, mogwai. PLEASE SHARE MORE! I love how you guys have such a dynamic taste in what you like and what you think is good. It's hard to find nowadays with people. oh dude, you're missing the best ones! check out mono and explosions in the sky, specifically the mono album "you are there", and the the explosions in the sky cd "the earth is not a cold dead place" or if you can find it, the soon to be released "all of a sudden i miss everyone". also, check out godspeed you black emperor and a silver mount zion. the older silver mount zion is kinda dark instrumental, and the newer stuff is not so much and i dont' like it, but whatever. also, check out this will destroy you and caspian

ya I love mono and explosions in the sky! I've been listening to them for some years now. I tried to find some of the other bands you mention here but had no luck...I will look harder ha. Thanks a lot! Make sure you let me know when you come across other stuff that's good.
