I've done a lot of dating in the last few years, since the last big breakup. It's not all bad. One thing I've noticed is that most guys have an anecdote in their back pocket that they use when the date is lagging, or when it's going well and they want to slug it home. That kind of story only works if you're out with a girl who 1. has massive family trauma of her own and 2. admits it.

The other kinds of girl tend to RUN AWAY FAST.

Yes, I know this from personal experience.

You are clearly going out with the wrong kind of girl.

This guy must have had a second sense about it because I hardly ever spoke about myself with him. For all he knows, I am from a hardy leave it to beaver type of family.

Or maybe he just knew he was on the ropes and had to throw a hail mary haymaker and hope for the best.

I wanted to say something clever about going out with the wrong kind of girl, but at the end of the day I'm 36 and single so you're probably right. =)

My grandfather committed suicide but the cover story to mollify my uncle who was eight at the time and was all ready reading The New York Times was that he had fallen in the bathtub?

For years after that when we were kids my mother (who became a theraPISSED, I've all ways thought b/c of that0 would warn us to be careful in the bathtub because thats how "GRANDPA" had died?

So odd that she lived her whole life in denial about that event while being paid to "help" people with their denial and other omg omg I HATE this next word, "issues"

AND she NEVER discussed the suicide or what had really gone down (happenned when she was two) with her own mother and then her mother got Alzheimers and it was too late to talk about it anyway.

So HOWE DID i dew.... k not good enough to get laid but maybe I'd get a bLOW JOB out of it?
