The Clark's save scene was shot as if it was from the comic book panels, you weren't just imagining it. Others have noticed that as well.

Yea, I would imagine a lot of people stated it :). 'Cause of how they did the black screen shots when it went from frame to frame. Some great fanart of that scene out there I have seen though.
