I'm so glad you enjoyed Heroes of Olympus: The Lost Hero as much as I did. You will love the Mark of Athena. I think Rick pulled off introducing a new set of heroes to start a new series while still being connected to the old. Some writers repeat their characters a little because they know "x" works well. I didn't get that feeling with anyone in this book. I love the twist on Greek and Roman Gods and Demigods. I really like Jason. He's very different then Peary and that's a good thing. Thalia and Jason are siblings! I am so happy that there are more (happy) family connections within the demigods. I feel for Thalia with her fear of flying and the way Jason using flight as his main thing. I can't remember when certain things happen in what books so I won't say anything more about Jason. His story is very good and doesn't fall short when Percy returns to the spot light ( ... )

I'm looking forward to it because the book cover looks amazing!! With Percy and Jason on their horses going head to head with eyes above them. I'm going a little bit slower with the Son of Neptune because I'm now adjusting to Camp Jupiter and once again reminding myself of Roman mythology. When it is something new or I forgot I have to read slower ( ... )

It was a bit hard for me at first since Riordan was combining the two, but now I'm getting the hang of it. In some ways it does make things easier lol. My dad asked me yesterday how I can do it lol.

I feel like Leo and Grover are very different
Definitely *nods*. One of the ways they are different is due to their ages. They are going through different experiences. I just don't buy some of the complaints lol. I think some just wanted their veteran characters to get more limelight, and forgo the messages and storylines.

Annabeth and Piper would have good discussion about having Goddess mothersOh, that would be cool!! The common elements of these characters bring forth such great development. We are all different, but there are things that link us together. To unite us. There are so many things trying to separate us in our society, so I just love this theme of working together ( ... )
