I loved seeing AC again thought having him back did mean the return of the terribly dialog. It's so bad it's funny. I really was impressed at AC's growth and the character of Mera. The Mera/Lois scenes where pretty fun. They had their own little story and growth in the middle of this big story. It's nice for Lois to have another woman/partner to superhero and hero in her own right to talk too.
I knew we would get a more grown up A.C., so I hoping for better dialogue. Thanksfully the dialogue was much much better than his first appearance in season five lol. Yea, those Mera/Lois scenes were nice to see along with Lois' scenes with Tess. Lois/Tess scenes are quite refreshing to see because the dynamic is changing and yet the banter is still the same between them.
I agree the dialogue was much better then season five but still a low point for this season. It only seemed to be low when AC was involved. It's like they love writing him that way. It didn't really bother me, more amused me.
I rather enjoyed Tess and Lois's scenes. I like the change in their dynamic. I hope Tess lives along enough for these two to become friends. I really think she's going to die now we know she's a Luthor. I did miss the last episode but I watched a youtube clip of the episode's three big family moments for Clark, Lois and Tess.
I guess for me poor dialogue wise was "Isis". Even though it had an epic ending with a great speech by Clark, and the dialogue of Oliver and Tess were done well. I still thought majority of that episode's dialogue was pretty forgettable and cringeworthy. "Isis" was an important episode, but it's my lowest ranking episode of the final season thus far.
If Tess diea, then I hope she goes out as a hero. Ironically, just like her biological father Lionel. That and I hope Chloe's Return next year doesn't screw things up not only for Tess, but for everyone. Funny thing is during Nov. Sweeps I totally forgot Chloe was still a part of the show this season lol.
That's a bummer on missing "Abandoned" :(. It was truly an awesome episode. One of my favorites from not only the final season, but also the series. My mom was in tears watching Ella Lane's videotape to Lois. Btw, I sent you an email today about Christmas.
