Apparently my father has decided just because I like women is no reason to stop making hateful homophobic comments constantly. He is, apparently, too old to change and shouldn't have to.

Well, I guess that pretty much kills any family gatherings with my folks once I move out of here :(

See, though, last year my 80 year old Czec neighbour got into an argument with my father on why the hell aren't gays allowed to marry, they're not hurting anyone. So if someone a generation older and from a more conservative region of the world can get it, why not my dad?

It's not about how old a person is or where they come from, it's about how liberal or conservative that individual is.
