awww that's ok...the best i could do yesterday before i got hit by the tummy ache is to write "OTANJOUBI SHO-CHAN" on the sand and take a pic of it ^^;; i wanted to look for cake (again hahaha) but yeah, my tummy refused to cooperate =_=
as for the fanmail, they have rules for that??? hmm...anyway, here to help anytime if you need me (and of course let's not put the line dek made me write hahaha :) ) can't wait to see you again dear, let's watch the DVD together once mine arrives ne ^^
The rules aren't really set, so to speak. But one general rule is that you have to be really respectful. As one person put it, write the letter as if you're writing to your grandmother. I'm not sure how I can come across as respectful without being stiff. I do want Sho to have a good impression of me.
Yes, I'll really need your help on this one. I'm not sure if I'd want to introduce myself in Japanese (since I do know how to, I think :P) so I'll need all the help I can get. I'll put this in the itinerary apart from the DVD flailing when we meet next time. :D
You know, as much as I love the squee-ful, fangirly birthday wishes, the honest emotional ones are my favorite every time. I felt the same way on Aiba's birthday- what I feel about him is so powerful that any kind of picture or picspam would fail to express what I want to express. So I wrote an emotional thank you, just like you.
I'm with you girl *hugs tightly*. This is my favorite Sho birthday wish, becuase it says everything I feel, too.
*squishes you right back* I think it helped a lot that I wrote this after watching the 2nd half of the Scene Kokuritsu DVD. I didn't think too much about structure and just let the words flow. I'm really glad I wrote this, even if it will never reach him.
Unfortunately, I don't think I could say the same for the fanmail I'm going to write for him. There are so much restrictions, and of course it can't be as personal as this one. I fear that it'll turn out quite stiff.
Why would a fan letter have to be stiff? :( there are that many rules for writing one? I'd think being warm and open about how much you love Arashi and what a big part of your life they are would make Sho very happy!
Well, not really stiff but respectful. I'm afraid of freaking Sho out with how much I adore him haha! It'll really be good if I can write something in a similar tone with this letter, though less obsessive(?) and focusing more on how much he has influenced me. :)
