Tribute to an amazing lady ... Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

This remarkable woman fought back against colorectal cancer AND pancreatic cancer in order to hold on to her post on the Supreme Court until a Democratic President would be elected. These are the unsung heroes I think we ought to take note of. Her retirement is probably imminent now that she knows our Constitution is in sane hands once again.

I agree with Denny Crane; I would do her in a heartbeat, although that probably isn't the kind of tribute you were pushing for. Sorry to be so shallow.

But yes, she is one of my heroes. I admired her from my med school days right after her appointment when I learned about her work with the ACLU (before they went wacko) and reading about her objections with the thinking of Roe v. Wade despite her position on the outcome made me think a whole lot more about...well...everything.

I respect her. And I don't say that about lawyers much.

And I'd still do her in a heartbeat (Oh, crap! There I go again!)

If for no other reason, I admire the fact she has hung on so long just to wait for a sane President (her words).

Hey, I like shallow! Shallow is only shallow if you just measure depth. Shallow can be big and wide, too. lol
