So I love love love that my big sister is coming to visit, but I'm not a fan of all the cleaning associated with her arrival. And the fact that I have to hide everything in my room I don't want little kids to find, though I'm sure they'll find things I never even thought of ( Read more... )

Right back at ya for older sisters. Mine is eight years older and my savior, confidant and instigator! If it weren't for her I would never have known about oral sex, how to drive a stick, roll a joint, braid a french braid, talk myself out of almost any problem (involving parents or police), swim with confidence, sail a boat, write a proposal, talk a friend out of suicide, remove a tick from a dog, make a saddle pad out of horse hair, and so much more that I just realized writing to you! So make sure you tell big sis how much you love her and thank her! Then take her out and get good and drunk and stay up and talk all night.

Your Dad has always come across as a pretty fine guy, and I'm missing mine today (died in 1983) so please cut him some slack! He's surrounded by women!

That's very true about my dad. But don't forgot, he does have #1 son! But sometimes he acts more like a woman than all three of his sisters.

Unfortunately I already have a headached from all the screaming and running, and my moron brother-in-law had to bring up things that I didn't want brought up, and my not-as-cool other sister had to keep that conversation going. Stupid folk.

But both older sisters have left to get beer, so hopefully the excedrin kicks in! Oh, yeah, and I find a place to sleep.
