Well said, Mel. I agree with you very much. I really do hate the way the election has a way of causing people who normally get along to go viciously attacking each other. Its depressing and counter productive. No matter who wins, I hope sensible people will decide that they should all work together for the greater good. Do some good, make changes, do a kindness for someone, something, anything positive. But anyway, I love and admire your intelligence, wit and wisdom and am glad we are friends.

Such a great point! If people would put the same amount of energy they put into pointless arguments into getting involved in their communities and doing something proactive to make a difference on the ground, this country... nay, the WORLD would be a much better place.
