Love the bottom one. The others aren't to my taste, since I prefer more of the fantasy or old look to modern, but the execution of them is excellent! Kudos!

I'm really glad you said that! I'm usually going for a more contemporary, clean line look when I make a piece, particularly the wire wrapped stuff, but I'm never sure if I'm accomplishing it. My preference for the jewelry I like to wear is more fantastical and bohemian, but I really want to make the more contemporary stuff. I don't know, but I don't feel like I can pull off the fantasy look I like as well as I've seen executed elsewhere. So I really appreciate your assessment and compliments!

One thing I've learned is not to even try doing a fantasy or boho style like others out there. Make it your own and you can't go wrong. I fail miserably when I try to get the feel of something else I've seen in jewelry, but when I have an ideal or person or theme in mind, it really flows. I'm sure this goes for other styles as well. I've got a HUGE inspiration folder of everything from nature shots to jewelry. When I'm really stuck, going through and figuring out what aspects of the jewelry I like helps.

I do that too (have a collection of inspiring photos). But things never turn out like what's in my head or what I've sketched and always just looks cluttered and junky. I'm weary of the steampunk stuff for the same reasons, even though I'd really love to do some. Maybe deep down I'm really more of a contemporary style and I just don't know it.

Thanks! That seems to be a favorite, based on my Etsy stats. :)

Thank you! That's my favorite of these as well and I'm really looking forward to doing more like it. It's interesting which ones different people gravitate toward.
