At first, it was just a hilariously strange item I found while scanning the shelves of our local TJ Maxx Home Goods store. Then I had to hold it and go show Chris who was looking at other stuff (who just shook his head disapprovingly and said "no") . Then I had to get Steff to take a pic of me with this thing. What does one do with a gigantic metal thumb? I think you've found the best use for it possible already - posing for pictures with disapproving shoppers. Bringing it home would just be a let down.

No way! Huge thumbs up in my office any time I'm feeling particularly discouraged by whatever I'm working on. It'll be like a giant version of the "Diligence is the mother of good fortune" fortune cookie phrase I have taped to my lamp on my desk. ;)
