Dang me! Hate it when that stuff happens! Argh. Well, I'm glad you did not lose your pictures. That happened to a friend of mine about a month ago. She only just realized it... y
Technology: can't live without it (mostly), but sometimes I'd like to strangle it.
Me too! I sort of use Flickr as a backup and am slowly but surely getting copies of all our stuff up there (I pay for the pro account to be able to upload as much as I want). We've got a server with redundancies, but we've lost a few pics in the past and those were enough of a blow. I would probably cry if I lost certain pictures.
Yeah, they were just little and kind of green while we were up there. If I had to guess, I'd say we were about three weeks late. If you went up there right now, I bet you'd find some.
Also, the spot where we camp is overgrown like crazy! Actually, everything is kind of overgrown. The fire ring where we usually camp has been dismantled and the stones added to the other site by the tree, which is where we camped this time. It's kind of nice that it's so overgrown. Feels like the area is healing.
I've used it off and on for almost as long as I've had a LJ account and this is the first complaint I've had, so I'd say pretty good overall. It also lets me crosspost to Blogger (helpful for my jewelry account when I'm actually doing stuff over there).
