I have Always cut Philipp's hair myself. Always. Even today. It was some fear I've had that the people wouldn't do it right... And we got into the routine.

In the younger years Philipp would fuss, but I think it was much less than it would have been in a salon...

He wants a buzz next. ;-) Since Eric's wearing a short 3 day beard now, we have the proper tools. lol. It will be another adventure in styling.

(I do Eric's hair, too, btw. He started asking me, because he liked what I did with Philipp's, and neither one of my guys want to go to a salon. hehe.)

Trust yourself; you can do better than this lady made you pay for...

Chris and I were discussing taking him back in the morning to have it fixed. At the same time, we both saw your comment and he suggested I give it a try. We both felt I couldn't do any worse. Thanks for your encouragement! I'll update the entry in a moment with a new pic. It's not fantastic or anything, but at least the all too short front looks a little more balanced with the back now.

I think next time I'll save myself the headache and the $20 and just do it myself the first time. I need some better scissors though. My sewing ones aren't right for it. ;)

You're welcome! Glad it helped! Heheh. Sometimes I think of it a little bit like "draping hair." Only a costumer, right? Right,

Yes.

And you DO want a pair of hairdressing scissors. They're way different than the sewing ones, and much better suited to the purpose. ;-)

*must check the photo...*

I say you've done a great job with what she left you! Yes!

I'm sure he liked it better that you were doing it, too. My guys sure do. ;-)

Thanks! He didn't seem to notice me cutting at all. He was too engrossed in Go, Diego, Go to notice. ;)

I am, thanks. I can stand this until it grows out a little at which point I probably won't care anymore at all. I've had all sorts of references for friends who cut hair since Friday though, heh. I found out today that my brother-in-law's girlfriend is about to start cosmetology school. So that's helpful.

Okay, first, you did a great job! He looks like a little man again :)

Second, get that womans name and I wil personally kick her ass! I hate to admit it but I laughed at the picture. I can't believe she did that to him!

Heh, you crack me up. And thanks! I think even though I can't remember her name, I'm going to leave a review to warn other parents to be aware that they do employ some (one) bad stylists and to be wary.

Oh crap, that was an awful haircut! What were they trying to do, give him a mullet?!

And here I said specifically, "we don't want any mullet action going" when she started. She laughed and heartily agreed, but I'm wondering now if she knows what a mullet really is.
