Not at all sad, as it was kind of in my thoughts as well (maybe break even this spring/summer on gardening stuff, heh)! Although, depending on the discount, this is one of the more pricey greenhouses so it might still be cheaper somewhere like Lowes or Home Depot. Admittedly, it might be better stuff, though. I know they had some really good looking mushroom compost and worm castings last year that I couldn't afford. Also, my first orchid came from there (the white one). While it's a lot bigger than any of the others I have, it's also the most expensive. I guess you get what you pay for, even when it comes to dirt.
Indeed, I'd love working outside and with plants, or hell, even carrying bags of mulch, even if it's only a couple of days a week. And I always love opportunities for learning more stuff about gardening and there's so very much still to learn. If I could learn to make my home gardening more efficient and more successful, that would be worth more to me than the paycheck.
